Why is 3D security enabled with my online payments?

We do this to make card transactions more secure and reduce the risk of fraud by turning on 3D security on card payments. Apart from the fact that we want to increase security ourselves, our card acquirers NETS and Swedbank are imposed on new EU rules, which may require us to use 3D security.


For customers, this will mean that their debit/credit card must be registered with “Verified by Visa” or “mastercard ID Check” with a mobile number and that there will be an extra payment window. It is important to note that the associated mobile number has nothing to do with Tusass. Only the customer's bank manages this, but the customer can sign up either via online banking, with NemID in connection with payment online or by contacting his bank and ask to have his card signed up for 3D secure. If the debit card is not enrolled in 3D secure, we must ask the customer to do so. When trying to make a payment online with an unregistered card, the payment cannot be made without the customer registering his card.

If the customer does not have NemID, the customer should contact his bank instead.

How can I get Tusas internet in Tasiilaq?

You must have a valid payment card that can be used online (not Akiliut), a cpr. number, a starter kit (4G modem) and an address in Tasiilaq or in one of Tasiilaq's settlements.

Is it possible to purchase Tusass internet subscription if I have debt to Tusass?

The system will assess your debt situation if you have outstanding debt to Tusass.

When can I expect my connection to be established after ordering Tusass internet?

Due to high demand etc., it may take up to two weeks for your internet connection to be established.

What happens to my current internet plan if I switch to Tusass internet subscription?

You will get refund for your current internet plan in the month when you switch to your new Tusass internet subscription. The money is calculated according to the number of days left in the month.

You will only pay for the rests of the days of month but still receive the full package for your Tusass internet subscription.

Notice: In the places where you can buy Tusass internet, it will no longer be possible to buy internet MIKISOQ, AKULLEQ, ANGISOOQ and ANNEQ, and you cannot switch back to your old internet subscription after purchasing Tusass internet.

How old must you be to purchase a Tusass internet subscription?

You have to be 18 years old to purchase a Tusass internet subscription. Otherwise, a parent or legal guardian can make the purchase on behalf of a minor.
