You can get a Danish phone number with Tusass mobile. You need to change to Tusass mobile if you have a prepaid SIM card, or if you have one of our old phone contracts (e.g. mobile Mikisoq or Angisooq)

For how long can I have the Danish phone number?

You will have the Danish phone number for as long as you have a Tusass mobile subscription. You will not lose access to the Danish phone number if you change over to a prepaid SIM card.

How much is the Danish phone number?

You will not pay extra for the Danish phone number if you have a Tusass mobile subscription. You will neither pay for phone calls or text messages that you receive from Danish phone numbers.

Which services will I be able to use with my Danish phone number?

You can use all services that require Danish phone numbers. You can for instance use MobilePay in Denmark or Greenland, when you place an order on Danish websites, or when you need to use Danish parking apps in Denmark.

Why do I have to give out my CPR-number to create a Tusass Subscription?

We use your CPR-number only to confirm your identity and for potential debt recovery.

How old must you be to purchase a Tusass Subscription?

You have to be 18 years old to purchase a Tusass subscription. Otherwise, a parent or legal guardian can make the purchase on behalf of a minor.

Why should I get a Tusass subscription?

If you are the type of person who likes to have better control over your mobile usage, then you should get a Tusass subscription. You will enjoy the following benefits:

Yes, all current mobile plans can switch to Tusass Subscription. You can keep your number and your SIM card when you switch. This is easly done on this website without any extra fees.

Will my PIN and PUK codes change when I switch to Tusass?

No, your PIN and PUK codes will not change.

How can I make my mobile number secret?

You can install a secret mobile number with your smartphone.

What is Tusass saldo?

Tusass saldo shows the current balance on your account. Your account must have a positive balance if you want to call or send a text to normal Greenlandic phone numbers as well as foreign phone numbers.

Can I keep my current mobile number when I switch to a Tusass mobile subscription?

Yes, you can. Keeping your old mobile number is easy and free. All mobile subscriptions can switch to Tusass Mobile subscriptions without changing numbers or SIM cards. You switch to a Tusass mobile subscription at Tusass.gl instead of going to the Tusass store. Signing up is easy and free of charge.

Is it possible to have an answering machine on Tusass Subscription?

You must select a Tusass subscription package with data content to go online.

Where can I use unlimited calls & texts?

Unlimited talk & SMS applies only to calls to Greenlandic mobile and landline numbers. Calls/SMS to premium numbers and abroad are charged with other rates and will be paid through a Tusass account that needs to be refilled

How can I check my Tusass balance?

Send an SMS to 1800 with the text 'Saldo' or log into Tusass

Why can I not use data when I have just purchased Tusass subscription with data?

It may take a while for the system to register your purchase. In some instances, it helps to restart your mobile phone.

Can I make video calls using Tusass Subscription?

Video calling can be understood in two ways:

1. On all newer Samsung smartphones, there is automatically a video call feature that you can use if the network supports it.

Note: The Tusass Subscription network does not support this type of video call.

2. Smartphones can now use apps to make video calls, so you can see the person you are talking to. These apps include FaceTime, Messenger, Hangouts, and more. This type of video call uses mobile data that requires you to have a Tusass subscription with mobile data selected.

What happens if I use all my data with a Tusass subscription?

If you have used up your mobile data, the speed will be downgraded to 32 Kbps. You can upgrade your data be logging into Tusass.gl if you want to increase the speed again. Your upgrade will be permanent until you make any other changes

When can I change my subscription?

You can always login to Tusass.gl and change your GSM subscription or Tusass pay-as-you-go to a Tusass mobile subscription. You can also always change your mobile package with additional mobile data at any time of the month.

If you want less mobile data, then you have to change the size of your mobile subscription. If you want to change back to Tusass pay-as-you-go, then you have to deactivate your Tusass mobile account. This all has to happen no later than the 20th of the month, if you want to see this changes the following month. You will be charged for an extra month if you change your subscription after the 20th of the month.

Note: You can only downgrade your subscription when you have not made an upgrade in the same month. When you choose to upgrade, you exclude the opportunity to downgrade on the same month.

Why can I not, as a Tusass subscription customer, use data once I have added money to my Tusass account?

You cannot use mobile data via your Tusass account when you have a Tusass subscription. Instead, you must buy a bigger mobile subscription that includes a data package. You can do this by logging into Tusass.gl with your mobilenumber, clicking “Abonnement” (subscription) and clicking on arrows to select the size of your data package.

How can I call 118, “What Time Is It?”, the weather information and similar numbers?

Calling these numbers are charged separately and not as usual numbers and you must therefore have a positive balance in your Tusass account before you can call these numbers
