Job Application Data Processing Policy

When you apply for a job at Tusass, we collect some information about you in the process. This happens when you upload the information, either via our website, or via a recruitment agency. The information you submit includes Name, address, telephone number, e-mail, CV, and application (as well as the content thereof), date of birth and diplomas. We may, in some cases, also process information in connection with personality tests. All information collected is treated confidentially and is not disclosed to third parties.

In the recruitment process, we do not process any particularly sensitive information about you and ask you to black out CPR numbers on e.g., diplomas, as this information is not relevant to the recruitment process.

We collect this information to assess you in relation to the position you are applying for. The processing takes place on the basis of Article 6.1 (a), 6.1 (b), Article 6.1 (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, depending on the data in question.
In some cases, we consider that your profile is a better match for another advertised position than the one you applied for. In these cases, your application is forwarded to the head of the department where the relevant position is available.

In some cases, Tusass uses Google and social media in connection with recruitment. This is not done systematically, but only in some cases, if your profile is found relevant for the specific position. Here, Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR is used as the legal basis. This information is not stored, either before, during, or after employment.

Your information is stored until the current position is filled. If you are hired, the information will be transferred to our personnel system. If you are refused, we will keep your information for up to 6 months with your consent. After that, all your information will be deleted.

You always have the right to contact us to be informed about what information we have about you, and to have your information corrected or deleted.
You can also always withdraw your consent, object to the processing of your information, or complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency if you do not think Tusass has complied with your rights. In some cases, however, there may be conditions that must be complied with, or limitations related to these rights.

If you have any questions about the above and how Tusass processes your information, you are welcome to contact our Personal Data Controller, Josefine Andreasen, on privacy@tusass.gl.
